Sud which equates to an error message in reality at least in my case, I have a Samsung Front Loader (est cost 1200.) I washed a single 18 x 18 fairly solid couch type pillow by itself and used too much of a cleaner called LOC from Amway. If this is the case replace the drain pump which is inexpensive to purchase online and easy to change out. Verify this by removing the back panel and see if the water in the clear hose is only pumped up about 3/4 of the way up. If the SUD error reappears then the problem could be that the pump can no longer push all the water up the exit hose. If the filter is clogged, clean it, reassemble and try running the washer's rinse and drain cycle again. I shaped a one foot length of tin into a "V" which I placed under the filter knob to direct the water down into a bucket. Unscrew the large knob to see if the tube' holes are blocked (finish nails, change and lint). Remove the bottom panel (a few screws) to access the pump. The SUD code is triggered via a pressure switch and an additional rinse and drain cycle runs because it thinks that there are still suds. My drain pump filter was clogged and my drain pump was failing.
